Chief Pinion will be joined by two members of his command staff\, Captain Jeremy Hayes and Captain Justin Lyon\, to discuss the following topics: police department overview and functions\, recent events\, holiday safety tips\, current crime trends\, business/church/school security and there will be a Q&A Session.\n\n \n\nChief Pinion has been with the Decatur Police Department for 17 years. Just six months after becoming a captain\, he was named interim police chief in January of this year and was selected by the City Council as chief in May.
