DESCRIPTION:This intensive four-day camp provides students with practical hands-on exposure to the world of CNC machining\, part design\, and modeling. Participants will have the opportunity to gain experience in CNC programming skills\, including tasks such as configuring tool offsets\, setting up machines\, and operating CNC equipment safely and proficiently. Additionally\, students will be introduced to the use of precision measuring tools. This camp is designed to cater to students entering grades 9th-12th and takes place at the Advanced Technology Center on the Decatur Campus of Calhoun Community College. Sponsoring the Precision Machining Academy connects your brand with future members of the industry while supporting them in gaining valuable\, high-demand skills as well as partnering you with Calhoun Community College to drive local workforce development.\n.\n\n\n\nIMS\, Inc. is the Platinum Sponsor for the Precision Machining Camp.\n\n\n\nThis is the second of two Precision Machining Camps.
