DESCRIPTION:The SuperStar Teacher program recognizes teachers in the Decatur-Morgan County area who show excellence in leadership\, creativity\, and imagination in and out of the classroom setting. SuperStar Teachers make learning fun\, support their students and are active in their community. They will be recognized by the Chamber and sponsors in a school setting a given a $150 gift card for use in their classroom\, a $50 gift card for personal use and a $1\,000 grant awarded to SuperStar teacher's school from the Chamber's One Vision Foundation. \n\n \n\nSchool principals will submit nominations via a form provided by the Chamber and judging will be conducted by sponsors and one member of the Chamber's Board of Directors.
