The 2025 Chamber Golf Classic will be Friday, October 10, 2025 and is presented by Adams Beverages of Decatur. The day-long event will be held at Burningtree Country Club. The event is also made possible by Gold Sponsors Decatur Morgan Hospital, DOC Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine and Huntsville International Airport. Teams were pre-purchased through the Chamber's Total Resource Campaign, an initiative that runs September through November for the following calendar year. The SuperStar Teacher program recognizes teachers in the Decatur-Morgan County area who show excellence in leadership, creativity, and imagination in and out of the classroom setting. SuperStar Teachers make learning fun, support their students and are active in their community. They will be recognized by the Chamber and sponsors in a school setting a given a $150 gift card for use in their classroom and a $50 gift card for personal use. School principals will submit nominations via a form provided by the Chamber and judging will be conducted by sponsors and one member of the Chamber?s Board of Directors.
At this lunch-and-learn event, Chamber members will have the opportunity to meet our staff, network with new members and learn how to use their Chamber membership to its full potential. Members will also learn how to utilize our online Member Information Center (MIC) to submit job openings, news releases and events to the Chamber website.
The Decatur-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce's annual State of Education Forum, presented by Pepsi Cola Decatur, LLC, is set for Tuesday, November 4 from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Decatur Riverfront.
