Our discussion will cover a broad range of topics including economic development, education and workforce development, healthcare, transportation and infrastructure, taxation, quality of life, tourism and more. 2025 Golf Classic
The 2025 Chamber Golf Classic will be Friday, October 10, 2025 and is presented by Adams Beverages of Decatur. The day-long event will be held at Burningtree Country Club. The event is also made possible by Gold Sponsors Decatur Morgan Hospital, DOC Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine and Huntsville International Airport. Teams were pre-purchased through the Chamber's Total Resource Campaign, an initiative that runs September through November for the following calendar year. 2025 After Hours - 4th Quarter - Brookdale Cedar Springs Retirement Community
Join us for After Hours, at Brookdale Cedar Springs Retirement Community, on Thursday, October 30, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. This come-and-go event will be the perfect opportunity to network with fellow Chamber members, exchange business cards and enjoy refreshments in a relaxed, after-work setting.
2025 SuperStar Teacher Presentation 10/31/2025 (date to be confirmed)
The SuperStar Teacher program recognizes teachers in the Decatur-Morgan County area who show excellence in leadership, creativity, and imagination in and out of the classroom setting. SuperStar Teachers make learning fun, support their students and are active in their community. They will be recognized by the Chamber and sponsors in a school setting a given a $150 gift card for use in their classroom and a $50 gift card for personal use. School principals will submit nominations via a form provided by the Chamber and judging will be conducted by sponsors and one member of the Chamber?s Board of Directors.
2025 Member 101 - 4th Quarter
At this lunch-and-learn event, Chamber members will have the opportunity to meet our staff, network with new members and learn how to use their Chamber membership to its full potential. Members will also learn how to utilize our online Member Information Center (MIC) to submit job openings, news releases and events to the Chamber website.
2025 State of Education Forum
The Decatur-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce's annual State of Education Forum, presented by Pepsi Cola Decatur, LLC, is set for Tuesday, November 4 from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Decatur Riverfront. Don't miss this chance to engage with key educational leaders in our community and gain insights into the state of education in Decatur-Morgan County. Panelists may include Superintendents of Decatur City Schools, Morgan County Schools and Hartselle City Schools alongside the Presidents of Calhoun Community College and Athens State University. There will also be a panel featuring students from each institution.
