We invite our members to join us on Thursday, September 25, at 10:00 a.m. to help shape the Chamber?s 2026 Local Public Policy Agenda. This one-hour session, led by our Public Policy Committee, will focus on reviewing and refining our current agenda to ensure it effectively addresses key local issues. Our discussion will cover a broad range of topics including economic development, education and workforce development, healthcare, transportation and infrastructure, taxation, quality of life, tourism and more. Your insights are essential in crafting policies that truly represent the interests of our business community. 2025 SuperStar Teacher Presentation 09/26/2025 (date to be confirmed)
The SuperStar Teacher program recognizes teachers in the Decatur-Morgan County area who show excellence in leadership, creativity, and imagination in and out of the classroom setting. SuperStar Teachers make learning fun, support their students and are active in their community. They will be recognized by the Chamber and sponsors in a school setting a given a $150 gift card for use in their classroom and a $50 gift card for personal use. School principals will submit nominations via a form provided by the Chamber and judging will be conducted by sponsors and one member of the Chamber?s Board of Directors.

The Chamber s annual Endless Opportunities Education Event gathers 8th graders from across north Alabama school systems to explore the wide variety of career options available to them following their high school graduation - careers available right in their own back yard.

2025 Golf Classic
The 2025 Chamber Golf Classic will be Friday, October 10, 2025 and is presented by Adams Beverages of Decatur. The day-long event will be held at Burningtree Country Club. The event is also made possible by Gold Sponsors Decatur Morgan Hospital, DOC Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine and Huntsville International Airport. Teams were pre-purchased through the Chamber's Total Resource Campaign, an initiative that runs September through November for the following calendar year. 2025 Member 101 - 4th Quarter
At this lunch-and-learn event, Chamber members will have the opportunity to meet our staff, network with new members and learn how to use their Chamber membership to its full potential. Members will also learn how to utilize our online Member Information Center (MIC) to submit job openings, news releases and events to the Chamber website.
