2026 Workforce Coalition Meeting - 06/11/2026

The Chamber’s next Workforce Coalition meeting is scheduled for Thursday, June 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., will meet at the Morgan County Schools Rural Development Park event center.

During the meeting, we will receive an update from RDP Administration about the new Career Tech Academy, which launched in the fall of 2025 and has just completed its first full year. RDP is a partnership with Calhoun Community College that provides Morgan County students with opportunities in the following areas of study, preparing them to enter the workforce directly after graduation. We will have the opportunity to hear from students about their respective areas of study and take a tour. With a mission to positively impact our current employee pipeline to build a more capable and sustainable workforce, the Workforce Coalition has a specific focus on problem resolution: industry brings challenges to the table regarding their current workforce needs and concerns. Through this open communication between community stakeholders, we can provide support in connecting them to the proper resources. The group is a partnership between the Chamber and the Morgan County Economic Development Association.
