2025 State of Education Forum
The Decatur-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce's annual State of Education Forum, presented by Pepsi Cola Decatur, LLC, is set for Tuesday, November 4 from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Decatur Riverfront. Don't miss this chance to engage with key educational leaders in our community and gain insights into the state of education in Decatur-Morgan County. Panelists may include Superintendents of Decatur City Schools, Morgan County Schools and Hartselle City Schools alongside the Presidents of Calhoun Community College and Athens State University. There will also be a panel featuring students from each institution.

The Chamber's 2025 Workforce NOW Summit will be held on Friday, November 14 bringing together the business community, economic development experts and workforce professionals. This event will provide valuable information and resources for businesses of all sizes. A keynote speaker will kick off the event and attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in breakout sessions. ? This professional development and networking event is specifically tailored for managers, team leaders, HR professionals, CEOs and educators. Please register by Wednesday, November 12.

Join us on Thursday, November 20, 2025, for the Chamber's Breakfast & Biz professional development training and networking session that provides ongoing support for our local business partners.
2025 SuperStar Teacher Presentation 11/21/2025 (date to be confirmed)
The SuperStar Teacher program recognizes teachers in the Decatur-Morgan County area who show excellence in leadership, creativity, and imagination in and out of the classroom setting. SuperStar Teachers make learning fun, support their students and are active in their community. They will be recognized by the Chamber and sponsors in a school setting a given a $150 gift card for use in their classroom and a $50 gift card for personal use. School principals will submit nominations via a form provided by the Chamber and judging will be conducted by sponsors and one member of the Chamber?s Board of Directors.

Wrap-Up Breakfast for the teachers, administrators, sponsors and Chamber staff to celebrate and discuss the days teachers spent in industries in the Decatur-Morgan County area.
2025 Women In Business Celebration - Professional Development Conference
The Women in Business Celebration - Professional Development Conference will be held in the morning before the 2025 Women In Business Celebration luncheon. Presenters will speak on topics relative to women in business. The luncheon will also feature the presentation of the 2025 ATHENA Leadership Award, an honor presented across the world by Chambers of Commerce, women's organizations and universities. The ATHENA Leadership Award is sponsored by Redstone Federal Credit Union.

The Chamber is set to host the 16th Women in Business Celebration, scheduled for Wednesday, December 10, 11:30 a.m. at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Decatur Riverfront. The luncheon will host a keynote speaker and feature the presentation of the 2025 ATHENA Leadership Award, an honor presented across the world by Chambers of Commerce, women's organizations and universities.
