Description

Due to a special session called in July, the 2023 Legislative Update will now be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. Governor Kay Ivey will deliver a keynote address on Alabama’s progress in the areas of education, economic development, infrastructure and much more. Our Morgan County Legislative Delegation; Sen. Arthur Orr, Rep. Parker Moore, Rep. Ernie Yarbrough, Rep. Terri Collins and Rep. Scott Stadthagen, will also be in attendance.

The event will take place at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Decatur Riverfront. Doors open with a lunch buffet at 11:45 a.m. and the program will begin at 12:30 p.m.
