2023 Women in Business Celebration

The Chamber is set to host the annual Women in Business Celebration, scheduled for Wednesday, December 13, 11:30 a.m. at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Decatur Riverfront. We are excited to bring together a dynamic panel of accomplished female professionals, including Janelle Brown, owner of Brown Books & More, Kelli Powers, President/CEO of Decatur Morgan Hospital, Dede Quarry, owner of Tess’ Place and Miss Muldrew's and Cheyenne Sanchez, founder of Young Professionals of Decatur. Our Chamber Chairwoman and owner of MeritHouse Realty, Jamie Reeves, will be moderating this insightful discussion on timely and relevant topics.
 
The luncheon is presented by Nucor Steel Decatur and gold sponsors are Realtor Shawn D. Garth, Renasant Bank & United Launch Alliance.

The luncheon will also feature the presentation of the 2023 ATHENA Leadership Award, an honor presented across the world by Chambers of Commerce, women's organizations and universities. The ATHENA Leadership Award is sponsored by Redstone Federal Credit Union.
