October - Team Building (date subject to change)

Edge Student Leadership is designed for high school sophomores and juniors and is comprised of approximately 36 youth from Morgan County, Decatur City, and Hartselle City Schools, as well as some private, parochial, and home school students. Edge is a development program designed to prepare high school students to become leaders in their school and community. The group meets 1 day a month for nine months, where each month focuses on a different topic: Team Building, Decatur Now & Then, Law & Order, Healthcare & Education, Poverty Simulation, Economic Development, State Government, as well as a Kick-Off and Graduation event.
