Description
Fifteen to twenty-five teachers from our 3 school districts in Decatur-Morgan County will spend 2 days at a local industrial facility where they can attend orientation, safety training, fitting for proper PPE and spend time shadowing workers to learn about your industry. The goal of this program is for teachers to get hands-on experience that they can take back to their students so they can guide them to a career with an industry in our community.
After all visits have been completed, the teachers, industries and sponsors will meet to discuss and share experiences.
