April - Edge Graduation for the 2025-2026 Edge Student Leadership class.
The Edge students have had a wonderful year and we look forward to sharing their experiences during this graduation celebration. Additionally, the 2026 Mary Shaw Ozier award recipient will be announced.

Edge Student Leadership is designed for high school sophomores and juniors and is comprised of approximately 35 youth from Morgan County, Decatur City, and Hartselle City Schools, as well as some private, parochial, and home school students. Edge is a development program designed to prepare high school students to become leaders in their school and community. The group meets 1 day a month for nine months, where each month focuses on a different topic: Team Building, Decatur Now & Then, Law & Order, Healthcare & Education, Poverty Simulation, Economic Development, State Government, as well as a Kick-Off and Graduation event.
