The Chamber s annual Endless Opportunities Education Event gathers 8th graders from across north Alabama school systems to explore the wide variety of career options available to them following their high school graduation - careers available right in their own back yard.

2025 Golf Classic
The 2025 Chamber Golf Classic will be Friday, October 10, 2025 and is presented by Adams Beverages of Decatur. The day-long event will be held at Burningtree Country Club. The event is also made possible by Gold Sponsors Decatur Morgan Hospital, DOC Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine and Huntsville International Airport. Teams were pre-purchased through the Chamber's Total Resource Campaign, an initiative that runs September through November for the following calendar year. The Chamber's annual Membership Appreciation Luncheon is an opportunity for our membership to come together for fellowship, good food and the chance for our staff and board of directors to say thank you to those who we serve.
2025 After Hours - 4th Quarter - Brookdale Cedar Springs Retirement Community
Join us for After Hours, at Brookdale Cedar Springs Retirement Community, on Thursday, October 30, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. This come-and-go event will be the perfect opportunity to network with fellow Chamber members, exchange business cards and enjoy refreshments in a relaxed, after-work setting.
2025 SuperStar Teacher Presentation 10/31/2025 (date to be confirmed)
The SuperStar Teacher program recognizes teachers in the Decatur-Morgan County area who show excellence in leadership, creativity, and imagination in and out of the classroom setting. SuperStar Teachers make learning fun, support their students and are active in their community. They will be recognized by the Chamber and sponsors in a school setting a given a $150 gift card for use in their classroom and a $50 gift card for personal use. School principals will submit nominations via a form provided by the Chamber and judging will be conducted by sponsors and one member of the Chamber?s Board of Directors.
