  • Provide tax strategy planning and identify advisory opportunities
  • Assist with bookkeeping and payroll management for assigned clients
  • Support offer-in-compromise (OIC) cases and IRS communication as needed
  • Maintain and manage workflows within TaxDome and Financial Cents
  • Collaborate with the Phoenix Accounting team to ensure client satisfaction and accuracy
  • Uphold firm standards for professionalism, timeliness, and confidentiality

Qualifications

  • Active CPA or EA license (required)

  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, TaxDome, and Financial Cents
  • Strong understanding of tax law, compliance, and accounting principles
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Experience with equine or small-business clients is a plus

Compensation & Schedule

  • Part-Time / Seasonal, Fully Remote
  • Hourly rate based on experience (no per-return structure)
  • Performance-based incentive bonuses for productivity and client success
  • Flexible hours with the opportunity for continued part-time work post-tax season
