Biology Instructor
Position Summary
Provide competent classroom and laboratory instruction at varied times and places in varied formats based on student demand; day or evening, on the Decatur and Huntsville/Research Park campus or at other sites, including traditional classroom, dual enrollment, hybrid or web format, and distance education. Classes are taught day, evening, and weekends on the Decatur and Huntsville/Research Park campuses and several off-campus sites. In addition, multiple forms of distance education are offered. The instructor will adhere to the general faculty guidelines as specified by the Calhoun Community College Personnel Handbook, the Vice President of Academic Affairs, and the Alabama Community College System policy. This is a multi-site role with a primary base at either the Huntsville or Decatur Campus.
Salary
Appropriate placement on ACCS Salary Schedule (Download PDF reader) D1: $46,590 – $94,363 (9 months)
An additional summer assignment may be available: $14,384 – $29,184 (3 months)
