Decatur Morgan CEO Program Seeking Facilitator to Mentor Future Entrepreneurs
The Decatur Morgan CEO Program is currently seeking a part-time Facilitator to guide high school students through its nationally recognized entrepreneurship program for the 2026-2027 school year.
The CEO (Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities) Program is a year-long experiential course that connects students with local businesses and community leaders. Participants visit area businesses, hear from guest speakers, and start their own individual businesses while developing leadership, communication, and entrepreneurial skills.
The Facilitator plays a key role in creating this real-world learning environment by mentoring students, coordinating business visits, and building strong relationships with local business leaders and community partners.
The position is a part-time role of approximately 20-25 hours per week, including daily interaction with high school students and coordination of program activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Guiding and mentoring high school students through entrepreneurial experiences
- Coordinating business visits and guest speakers
- Supporting students as they develop and launch their own businesses
- Building relationships with community partners and investors
- Maintaining communication with the CEO Board and program supporters
The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, relationship builder, and organized leader who is passionate about entrepreneurship and student development.
