About Us
The purpose of the Morgan County Child Advocacy Center (CAC) is to provide help and healing to children. Our vision is that no child who has experienced abuse will have to suffer in silence.
The CAC provides an array of services available at no cost to the children and adolescents of the City of Decatur and Morgan County. Services include forensic interviews, victim advocacy, trauma-informed therapy including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and certified facility dog services.
CAC staff is also available to provide training to the community, including training surrounding mandatory reporting, child abuse awareness, and trauma informed care.
