Turner Construction Company Recognized by American Institute of Steel Construction

Huntsville, Ala.  – Turner Construction Company’s local fabrication shop has been recognized by the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) for its safety practices. Turner received the 2023 AISC Safety Award for its record of minimal days missed and minimal restricted time in proportion to total hours worked.
 
“Throughout our entire company and within our shop, safety is always our top priority,” said Joey Bush, manager of Turner’s Huntsville fabrication shop. “Every member of our team takes pride in sending his or her coworkers home better than they arrived. We’re honored to be recognized by AISC for our commitment to each other.”
 
The AISC is a non-partisan, not-for-profit technical institute and trade association established in 1921 to serve the structural steel design community and construction industry in the United States. AISC's Safety Awards honor fabricators and erectors for their efforts to keep employees safe.
 
Turner’s fabrication shop was recognized in late March at NASCC: The Steel Conference, in San Antonio, Texas.
