Music/Music Technology Instructor
Position Summary
Provide high-quality instruction and leadership in music and music technology education, including audio engineering, instrumental lessons, music theory, performance ensemble direction, and related academic coursework. The instructor will provide competent classroom and laboratory instruction in the areas of music and music technology. The instructor will adhere to all general faculty guidelines as outlined in the Calhoun Community College Personnel Handbook, directives from the Vice President of Academic Affairs, and policies of the Alabama Community College System. This is a hybrid position in which the instructor will teach in both the music and music technology departments.
Salary:
Appropriate placement on ACCS Salary Schedule (Download PDF reader) D1: $42,108 – $94,363 (9 months)
An additional summer assignment may be available: $13,001 – $29,184 (3 months)
(Salary placement within this range is determined by your academic credentials and documented years of full-time related work experience)
