Calhoun Announces 2025 Summer Camps Schedule

Calhoun Community College is excited to announce its 2025 summer camps schedule, offering a wide variety of engaging, hands-on learning opportunities for individuals ranging from elementary school students to adults. With camps focused on everything from cybersecurity and welding to athletics, automotive technology, Legos, and theatre, there is something for every age group and interest.
 
“Each year, our summer camps provide an incredible opportunity for students to explore careers, strengthen skills, and build confidence in a supportive and fun environment,” said Dr. Jimmy Hodges, Calhoun President. “We are proud to offer these camps as a way to give back to our community and invest in the future of our young people. The exposure these camps provide can be life changing.”
 
A highlight of this year’s lineup is the return of the Jazz Camp at the Alabama Center for the Arts in downtown Decatur. This high school and adult-age program includes the opportunity to perform in a live jam session, providing participants with real-world performance experience.
 
Camps will be held throughout the summer, with new offerings being added regularly. As of today, the following camps are scheduled:
