Calhoun Community College Hosts Annual Spring Job Fair with Over 55 Employers

Decatur, AL – Calhoun Community College’s Career Services team is excited to announce its Annual Spring Job Fair, taking place on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, in the Advanced Technology Center (ATC) on the Decatur campus. The event will be held during two convenient sessions: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM. No registration is required, and the event is free and open to Calhoun students, alumni, and the general public.

One of North Alabama’s largest hiring events, the Spring Job Fair will feature over 55 employers actively recruiting for full-time and part-time positions across various industries, including engineering, healthcare, finance, manufacturing, education, and more.

Attendees Can Expect:
  • Networking opportunities with employers
  • On-the-spot interviews with hiring managers
  • FREE professional headshots from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Resume critique services and access to Calhoun’s Career Closet, where students and alumni can find professional business attire at no cost

  • Multiple copies of your resume
  • A professional outfit (or stop by Calhoun’s Career Closet for free business attire beforehand)
  • A positive attitude and readiness to connect with potential employers
“With so many open positions in North Alabama, this job fair presents a great opportunity for job seekers to connect with employers actively looking to hire as the demand for skilled workers continues to grow,” said Kelli Morris, Calhoun’s Director of Career Services & Cooperative Learning. “By engaging with employers at our job fair, attendees can discover new career opportunities, learn what skills are in demand, and even land a job on the spot. We encourage everyone to bring multiple copies of their resume and dress professionally as it could be the day that drastically changes their career path,” Morris adds.
